Mismatch Tire Size
#1
I need help. I purchased a set of ITP mudlites 25/8/12 front and 25/10/11 Rear for my 2000 Honda Rancher. The problem I have is the front tires on 4 psi measure 24.25" while the back tires at 4 psi measure only 23 inches. My question is why are these tires different diameters when there marked as the same overall height? Also, will this hurt my Honda Rancher 4x4 or hurt off road performance? Also, i contacted a friend that has 26 inch Dirt Devils and he has the same problem. The back tires are almost 2 inches shorter than the front. Please help!

I don't think it will bother your machine. I bought a set of itp 589's 4 years ago and installed them on
my Honda trx300fw. The tires were way above the orig stock tires, but I needed ground clearance.
Highlifter recommended 25"s for the front and 26" for the rear. I have had no problems with the
exception of a little power loss.
