Default Sand Tires

This summer I hope to be hittin the sand dunes (Silver Lake Sand Dunes) I've been there once before on my friends quad but now that I have my own I'm wondering, What kinda sand tires to get? I was looking at sand stars on ITP rims. The tires would be for an 06 Raptor 350? Are sand tires even important? (I've seen people useing the stock tires) Also will I just need to buy the 2 rear paddles or should I go for all 4 tires?

Default Sand Tires

My friend has those tires on his Warrior, and they don't do very well at all! I think they are to heavy and to narrow, so they don't give very good flotation.

I have always gone with the very light, buffed down Skat-Trak Edges. All these new molded sand tires are way to heavy, and your little 350 doesn't have any power to spare.
