I think they are great tires, but you have to be careful because they will play havioc with your bearings. I know of three guys who put them on there Honda 300 4x4's and the bearings went out in a couple of weeks, but i think they were bigwheel kits, not stock size.

We put Sur Traks on our Recon. They are not to heavy they are only 2 ply. The mud tires make all the difference. The Recon goes almost everywhere my 4x4 goes.

No experience with bearclaws.

I have bearclaws on my Beartracker, and they totally changed the way the machine goes through the mud holes, I go just about any place my buddies go with there 4x4s, I highly recommend them, Im getting a hold over 2000 Kodiak in about 2 weeks, And I am putting on some Bearclaws, cant wait to go muddin.
