Mudbugs...hands down...100%...best all around tire on the market. smooth ride...light...hook up really well in the mud. I run outlaws for a big mud run...but would be lost without my bugs for everyday riding...trust me I've owned every tire on the market...literally...get the bugs.

I actually just mounted four AMS V-Trax 25/10x12's on Vision 160 8 x 12 aluminum wheels. I haven't even had a chance to ride with them yet. AMS states these tires are designed for loamy soil or hard-packed trails. Their tread design reminds me of BF Goodrich T/A Terrain Radials on full-size trucks and SUVs. The flat tread pattern and price were most attractive. You don't have to spend $100 / tire for a good ride. I paid a little over $50 for these with shipping! They're six-ply with wheel protection beads and pretty deep tread.

Everybody's opinion is exactly that, an opinion. But I wouldn't be too tempted to buy from the magazine ads. There are some great tire designs out there that aren't radials, not heavily advertised, and not as expensive as those that are.
