How do these tires compare in tread depth to the Mudlite XT. I too have a 400 outy and am considering the swamplite but I like the tread depth of the Mudlite XT. I do not want to go to 26" I think it will hurt performance but not sure. Any insight would help. By the way up here in c "A"n"A"d"A" Eh. they are hard to get so far but if they've got the tread depth I want em.

Tread depth is 3/4". The tread on 26" tires is deeper something like, 1 1/8". I wouldn't hesitate
to get get 26" I don't believe there is enough difference in weight to make a noticable difference plus you will gain a little ground clearance.
To get some better answers ask, Shane at Trax Motorsports he a real nice guy and is the seller of most of them

wideopenrider,
That quad your talking about that about rips the handle bars out of your arms might be from his toe-out, if it's out too far then it would cause it to "seek" on the trail. He might wanna measure to see that his tires have 0 toe-out or maybe toe'd-in a tad. If it's toed in too much it'll be heavy steering.
