Default Rire suggestions

Looking for a new set of tires to replace the old stockers. The three tires I am looking at right now are the swamplites, Mudlite XL's, and believe it or not, the Carlisle ACT's. As far as my riding terrain, mostly it is hardpacked and rocky, with very little mud. I do however use the quad during hunting season witch includes snow and some mud, but a lot of hardpack and rocks. I like the idea of the radials for the trail riding, but I really like the depper and more agressive tread of the mudlites/swamplites. A friend of mine has a Honda 400ES with the regular mudlites, and they seem to do really well, especially in the snow. I've read mixed reviews of the swamplites--it is either love 'em or hate 'em, and I know that the mudlites have a good rep too.
Also, I am trying to decide if I should stay with the stock 25's, or upsize to 26's
Thanks in advance for the feedback
