800cc buggies

Default 800cc buggies

I have a question, a fellow 800cc,
buggy owner e-mailed me asking about,
a noise his makes. it is quiet cold but after,
warmup it makes a knocking sound about 3000,
rpm, but runs great and strong, what is it???

Sounds like he needs a heavier oil.

My buddies atv had a very light knocking at higher rpms, so he started putting a quart of heavy weight oil in with the oil change and it stopped. It just cushions the lifters a little more. Im just offering a way to mabey make it stop knocking.

the new low ratio trans is available at venom for cheap.

check it out.
