Default Leaking oil from rubber boot between engine and drive shaft

I have a baja 250 which is basically a copy of the Yamaha bear tracker. I've got about 350km's on it now and I noticed the runner boot that covers the drive shaft and the engine join is leaking oil. I took the boot off and there was some oil pooled up in the boot. I put the boot back on. The clamps that hold it down aren't the greatest. Is it normal for there to be some oil accumulating in there over time or has mine sprung a leak?

Thanks,
Brendin

I had a similar issue with my 2003 Wolverine. The middle drive gear seal had failed. It was a big job, but I replaced mine. I had to remove the rear swingarm, then pull out the middle drive gear bearing housing.
