Realistically what is the biggest baddest tire I can put on my 2006 rancher 350 2x4?

I am wanting a more aggressive tread for my rancher than what came from the factory (goodyear CL's) I am looking at bighorns, mudrunners, mud bugs, and mud lite's.
Whats the largest sizes Ican get away with on the front and more importantly the back?
front stoack is 24-8-12 and back is 25-10-11.
Can I put 25's on the front without changing anything? What will this effect?
How about the back, where the traction matters most in 2wd? ANy input is APPRECIATED

I originally put ITP 589's on mine (26-10/12, 26-12/12), and I think that's about as big as you could go without a lift (the rears just barely rubbed the fender extensions). To me they were just too much tire, and I went down to the 25" Bearclaws (25-8/12, 25-10/12) and they work great.
Check my photo gallery for pics of both mounted.

The 589's slowed it down noticeably and they made it hard to steer (those things were heavy), and since my wife rides it alot, I went to the 25's mainly to improve the steering effort.
I haven't made any other mods so far.
