Food for thought. I bought some tires at Wal Mart a while back, set of four. They offer a road hazzard warranty for like $10 per tire, right? Well I tell the guy, just give me the warranty for ONE tire! He looks at me like "HUH".....I said yeah, just for one tire....he looks at the other guy and is like "can we do that" guy just shrugs his shoulders and says "I guess so"....he asks me why. Well, I tell him...Most people have a flat they bring the tire into you, right? Yeah, he says, but some people do drive in with their fake spare....My point to him was, if I carry in a flat how would you know which tire I got the warranty on, right?

I told nevermind, I didn't really want the warranty, but I was curious what their reaction would be. My guess is that you are required to buy it on each tire, but neither guy there was really sure.

 

LOL!!!! Smoetimes those people crack me up! But your right, why pay for 4 warranties when it would only take one?

 

Am I mistaken when I say that tires have serial numbers. I remember being at a walmart while a woman brought a damaged tire in for an adjustment and the guy refused to do it cause he said the tire's serial number didn't match the one's she bought at walmart. not the model number of the tire but the serial number. ???
