26" outlaw MST vs 26" swamp fox
#1
I have a 2002 Honda Rubicon with an HMF muffler, jets, and a K&N air filter, and at the end of this month I am planning on getting some new tires for it. Im stuck between the 26" AMS Swamp fox tires and the 26" highlifter outlaw MST tires. I do about 50/50 riding where half of it is back in my woods riding on trails, and the other half is spent in various mud holes and shallow ponds and creeks. I guess what I am looking for is opinions on which tires you think would be better? They are both close to the same price with the swamp foxes being just a little cheaper. Also which one of these tires will I get the most life out of?

The problem for me with the gators/bugs is the only 26" size I have seen for the front is 26x10x12 and I dont want to go any wider than 26x9x12 up front, and they are just a little to aggresive looking for me because I do a little bit of riding on pavement and gravel roads. After looking at the swamplites they just didnt seem aggresive enough. My buddy has 26" 589's on his Rincon and I was not impressed with how they performed in the mud or on the trails, so I doubt I will go that direction either. I am also not a real big fan of ITP tires. Thanks for the suggestions though!!

i got gators and ride on pavement quite a bit, and they ride fine. the only time the ride bad is under 6 or 7 mphs. at that speed they can chip a tooth!! but arent the outlaws fairly aggresive?

The outlaw MST's arent as aggressive as a bug or gator. Gators only come in a 10" wide tire in the 26's and that is to wide for the front of my fourwheeler anyway. 26x9x12 is what size I want for the front and 26x12x12 is what I want for the rear.

Yes I have seen those before. Arent they the factory tire that comes on some of the polaris fourwheelers? I dont know if they are aggressive enough.

Hands down the swampfoxes win. They do great on the trail mud mud just as good as any other tire. Had swamplites and I like these better. I know a guy with 1600 miles on his foxes and he said they lokk like new. You won't be disappointed with these.
