Size of paddle tire
#1
I currently have 06 predator 500 LE with 20 X 11 X 9 tires in the rear. I want to purchase paddle tires with rims. Is there an advantage of getting a wider rim with wider tires. I like to jump and climb hills. What is the advantages and disadvanges?

So, yes it is best to be as wide as possible (both tires and the width of the quad) in the sand. So get some tires that are at least 11" wide and put them on wide rims.
I don't know what size your rims are or what their offset is. Honda rims are 9X8", which is to narrow. I always replace my rims on a new machine, first thing! I run ITP 9X9" rims, either T9's on the smaller quads or Baja on the bigger ones. The rims are 1" wider than stock and have a greater offset. Add to this some wider tires, and this leaves me +3 in back. Front ends up about +2" as well.
