Hey, I got a set of 25" for my Xplorer 400, printed on the tires it says: "WARNING LOW PRESSURE FLOATATION TIRE USE BEAD LOCK WHEEL" Anyone know if I can mount these on my steel rims...The tires I am replacing are ITP Blackwater XT's that came mounted with the rims as a set from Dennis Kirk...

Lots of tires say that. They do it for liability, so you can't sue them. In court, they would just say that you didn't follow the mounting instructions properly, so it's was your own negligence.....

 

I believe that your wheels are already bead-locked... most are, if not all.

 

Yeah, they might not mean that you actually have to have the bolt on beadlocks that a racer might run........

 

Hey thanks, got em mounted up today, beads popped right on... no prob. Gonna try em out tommorrow!!!

 

If im not mistaken, all wheels have beadlocks now days.
