Radials--are they worth the extra $$$?
I need some new tires and am new to ATV's-are the radials a better tire over all(less punctures, better ride, better traction,as or more durable than bias ply tires)?
and which of the 3 that I see forsale will offer the best overall traction in most conditions?Bighorns-Terracross or Mudlite XTR;s(am I missing any more radials to choose from)?
I ride my own property thru the woods as well as faster RRgrade trails and powerline -gasline runs thru swamps and bogs, with rocky hill climbs and creek crossings.
OR-is there better tire choice that Im not familiar with-sorry for mny many questions-I dont want to waste my time or money on a bad tire selection
Thanks for any help or suggestions

i just purchased a set of ITP XTR's with 50miles on them ($180). they ride GREAT! are they worth the $400+ new, i can't say. i guess i'll see how these wear, but as for the ride compared to a comprable tire..........they are smoother than the 589's with just about the same aggression, and compared to the Mudlite Xl's i think they ride and grab better too!
they definetly get a thumbs up in my book!

I love my Terracross Radials. They provide so much more grip than the stock tires, expecially on sand and snow. Haven't had a chance to use them much in mud. They ride very nicely, it seems that I can "feel" the trail better with these tires versus the stock ones.
Check out these webaddress for comparison pics:

Granted they aren't the greatest pics. The stock tire you see only has about 200 miles on it.
