atv, changing tires
#1
I just changed 8 atv tires and found out that if you leave some air in the tires it makes it a whole lot easier. When we first started we let all the air out and tried to break them loose they would not budge. So we decided to leave some air in the tires then they came right off and save a lot of time and work. We used the tool from harbor freight, this one http://www.harborfreight.com/c....taf?Itemnumber=34542. So if you ever need to change tires, leave some air in them.

Hey, thanks, angler. I have exactly the same tool, and it works pretty good (except for getting real small tires on, or real stiff ones like Pirelli Mudwiser's). never had any problems breaking the bead, however - that was the easiest part!

I just give my Tires/Rims to my friend who works in a Tire shop.. he throws them on the Aluminum rim machine - works nicely..
But if I didn't have that deal.. I would buy that tool for sure! $50 is cheap insurance for the headaches you will suffer!
