Hey,
I have a front tire on my Ozark that keeps leakin air on the bead
tried just about everything except a tube
anyone ever use and how are they?

I put a sizable hole in my 2003 Grizzly rear tire on a ride several years ago. It could not be patched or plugged, so tubing it was the only option. I upgraded tires 18 months later when I bought another ATV. I sold the original tires to a buddy of mine and he is still running them today. No issues so far from the tubed tire.

tubes will be fine, all i would do is add silicone to where the valve stem comes through.
the hole is bigger then it is for a tube .
it will keep out all the mud and sand from getting in.
been riding all summer on tube tire.
no probs.

I put tubes in my ATV's tires ,I was sick of needing to add air every 2 weeks. I did it over a year ago and never needed to add air once.

In the past I repaired a lot of atv tires, although its been a little while. Many people used to have trouble with the tire spinning on the rim and that could tear the valve stem. Most tires have stiffer sidewalls now so that possibility should be minimized. Back then we would recommend running a little higher air pressure and had very good success with that option.
Today if I got a flat, I would consider a tube if I was an average rider. If I was always on it and running it hard with quick accelerations racing around I would be a bit cautious.

NASCARGUY is right about the tire spinning on the rim.My quad did that and ripped the valve stem off.But I think your ozark is probably 2 wheel drive so it probably wouldnt do that if it is the front tire.
