Default rubicon gear problem

I have an 02 Rubicon and it has rescently started to make a zipping grinding sound on steep hills and the will not continue to go up. It acts just like it has a belt and is slipping which i know is not the case. This problem only starts after ive been riding for about an hour.Any suggestions.

what viscosity oil did u put in the motor when u changed it. is the gear indicator light flashing on the speedo. is it just staying in high gear, does it just do it with the programmed esp on, or does it work in D1, or D2

Default rubicon gear problem

it seems to do it all cases,4 wheel and 2 wheel drive esp or not esp.Someone told me it might be my oil press not being high enough to keep transmission engaged, hes an atv technician so im thinking he might be right.it only does it on really steep hills or if im really getting into the gas.

I have a 2001 Rubicon and for what you are saying , it seems like you might have some clutch probles. this quad is bery good , but if you do not maintain it properly you will have some isues just like any othe quad. the transmission on your quad is veri sensitive, if you use different tipe of oil, on everi change this will cause some problems.
