I've had both and the Mudlites seem to throw worse. Just control your throttle and the Swamplites will be OK.

Hey Buck... how did your Kodiak do with the 26" Swamplites? did you loose much power? did it turn the them ok in High range? I was only going to get 25" tires when I replace my stockers.. but more and more I am going to get some 26" ones.. I just don't want to change the clutch / jetting/ exhaust..

I didn't notice alot of difference but I had an EPI clutch kit installed beforehand. From stock you may notice a little difference but not enough to be noticable. The nice thing is if you get aftermarket rims with the swamplites you not only gain some clearance, you also get a wider stance. Remember with the Kodiak 450 and I think the Grizzly 450 too, the best wheel to get is the ITP ss106 with the 6+1 offset so they don't stick out too far. My first pic on my page is of my old Kodiak with the ss106 and Swamplites. Overfenders are a plus too.
Hope this helps.

ok cool.. I am sticking with stock wheels.. I like the narrow width of my Grizzly 450 (same as 03-06 Kodiaks and Canadian 07 Kodiak 450's)

As far as the Clutch kit goes.. does that require any engine mods? or is it simply just a clutch mod?

Simply a clutch mod. Check out http://www.mudthrowers.com and enter "LUGNUT" as a coupon code. That should save you 5% if you decide to buy there.

Ibrokeit, how does the King do with the 27"? Looking to upgrade if these Swamplites ever wear out.

they dont pull the power down, give it good lift, and handle great. its my wifes ride and she goes ALMOST every where the guys go, and we have zillas. 589's, mudlites, and outlaws. swamplites are great all-round tires
