Default Is BIGGER better????

I bought a 08 750 brute, i asked when i bought it about oversized tires. The dealer said i cold go with 29.5 outlaws and he would still cover me. Bought 26" xtrs instead. Yall should ask your dealer to make sure they wont cover you. personaly i think some machines would be downright unsafe with stock tires on. I'd hate to try my 750 wit h the stock tires i cant get traction under 10 mph woth oversized mud tires on.

Actually, it's the opposite. Bigger tires decrease acceleration but INCREASE your top speed.

If you increase your tire size by 10%, your top speed will increase by 10% but your acceleration decreases.

So when you go with bigger and bigger tires your quad will get more and more sluggish but once you finally get up to your top speed, it will be a higher top speed.

Look at it this way:

A bigger tire travels further with each rotation, right? The length of the circumference of a larger tire is greater. So each time the tire makes one revolution with a bigger tire, the quad travels further--in other words, an increase in your top speed.
