PROPER PUNCTURE PROCEDURE?
#1
What's the proper puncture procedure?: All 4 tires have at least a pint of Slime in them. All 4 have picked up some kind of woody weed stems. Should I leave them that way or should I pull them out?

I have never liked Slime in a quad tire. Slime is just full of fibers that will plug the holes, but it needs high pressure to do it right. Plus, it always dries up after a while.
I like Fix-a-Flat instead!
I say pull them out, and see what happens. If they still leak, you are going to have to enlarge the holes and put plugs in them.

I hate to disagree reconranger as I have had major problems using fix a flat(especially if you dont wear tires out fast, or plug them with a patch and clean out all the fix a flat)
Fix a flat has a tendancy to rust up wheels to the tires if you dont break them down and repair the tires almost immediatly and wash all the fix a flat out.
I had to buy 4 rims and tires instead of just 4 tires the last time. I have since had 2 tires that are so old and dry rotted(and had fix a flat in them several times that would not allow the tires to be removed, and I could not find rims for the quad) So I used slime in them. It sealed so well that I now have slime in all of my atv tires(3 quads) So that if I have a flat on the trail it will repair itself, but I also carry a tire repair kit with co2 inflator to make double sure that I will make it out and if a tire has a plug in it and slime it will have an even better chance of staying sealed.

Oh and to make matters worse I absolutely hate when people bring in their honda's with fix a flat in the tires without telling you it has it in there. It makes such a mess that it is not even funny.
