Kimpex ATV Lift Kit
#1
Hi All,
I am considering a lift kit for my Grizzly 450. The Highlifter one is made from steel and I have seen that the parts eventually rust..
I know Kimpex makes a kit as well.. and I believe those parts are machined Aluminum?
So that is my question this... Are the plates on the Kimpex kit made from machined Aluminum or machined Steel?
Thanks

I'm pretty sure it's steel also dude. Mine hasn't shown any signs of rust, it's the highlifter kit. I think they might all be steel for strength puposes but I could be wrong.
The funny thing is when I got the kit and opened it up I was expecting something maybe a little different than what I saw... a few pieces of machined steel painted black with some nuts and bolts. But after putting it on the bike it was well worth the money. I don't know what I was expecting. I think maybe solid blocks or something to put between the shocks and the frame I guess but now I see the purpose of how the kit works. I laugh at myself now.
