Default 6ply vs 4ply

I was wondering what the difference between 4ply tires and 6ply tires. Is it weight, or is the thickness of the tire?

Well, the 6-ply tire is thicker so it weighs more.......

I run ITP Holeshot XC's, 6-py rear and 4-ply front.....good combination!
