Default Anyone with Interco Swamp Lites?

Hey, I was wondering how good Interco Swamp Lites work in the mud and on the trail. I am planning to buy new tires for my Suzuki Ozark 250 and came across these and GBC Gators. Which tire do you think is a better choice? I must cross 70 feet of pure, gooey, suctiony, swamp and then get onto the trail. Any input will be apprectiated!

I have run both Gators and Swamp Lites on a Sportsman 500. The Gators are by far a better mud/swamp tire while the Swamp Lites are a very grippy trail tire. Swamp Lites seem to pack up a bit in thick mud that the Gators did not and the Gators are more durable. My Swamp Lites are starting ti show cracks in the tread area and are wearing a bit fast but they are a very good tire for actual gripping traction.

Thanks for your answer. This answer is EXACTLY what I was wondering about. If the tires cake upp a little bit, then I will go with the Gators. How are the Gators on the trail?? Somewhat smooth or completely rough they're not worth buying??

The gators were not bad on the trail, a little slick for sliding on hard pack dirt. I put most my miles on dry dirt so the Gators were not the best for me but they sure looked cool. I sold the Gators and put on a set of ITP Holeshot ATR's, these are great in the snow and on hard pack. The Swamp Lites seem to be a happy medium between the two.

Swamplites are awesome trail tires but they sure dig a hole in a hurry if they're spinning. Look at the tread...kind like a bunch of little shovels...

Thanks guys but which would I choose for a 250?? The swamplites are 7 pounds heavier each than stock while the gators are only 4 pounds heavier each. Also, which one do you think would work better in a somewhat sticky swamp, considering I have some momentum and do you think the the swamp lites will grab better than stock Ozark tires??

I would go with the gators. The swamplites are good tires, but they are heavier and require some spinning to get them unclogged for the thick stuff. they're great on a powerful machine, but the gators I think would be better on a smaller machine

I run 29.5 swamplites and i love them! I have ran gators in the past and they were ok, but did not suit me for the kind of riding i do. Swamplites have performed every bit as good as the gators in the mud, but i thinks thats because the 28's and the 29.5's have 1.5" of tread depth.
