Default Need Tire Help

I just bought a used 2002 Honda Foreman. The tires are bad and I was wanting to replace them inexpensively. I have located some slightly used tires at a local dealer. The fronts are kenda Bearclaws, and the rears are Maxxis Rubicons. The Bearclaws are listed as 24.3" in diameter, and the Rubicon's are listed as 25" in diameter. If I had a 2wd I wouldn't worry about the difference, should I be concerned about putting these on a 4x4 with slighly different diameters?

Thanks!

its not a big diff, but i wouldn't do it!! If you decide to, maybe let more air out of the larger and inflate the smaller one a little more and dont use 4x4 unless the front is able to spin freely in the mud.. For me its worth buy the right size and having that piece of mind that its not doing any damage.

Thanks....I think I will take your advice. Leaning towards 4 new bearclaws. At $20per tire it was tempting.

Yeah that would be very tempting, but would really suck if it ended up costing you a new front diff. Glad to have helped alittle.

It might be okay but I wouldn't try it either. Bigger tires in the front than rear wouldn't hurt. If the front pulls more it's okay, but if the back pushes around you could have trouble.

I dont think I'd want to take a chance on mixing tire sizes on a 4x4 unless your going to ONLY use 2 wheel drive, the eventual damage thats going to result is not worth the money your going to save on the cheaper mixed tires.
