i want to buy the 26x9x12 and the rears at 26x12x12. my stock tires are 25x8x12and at the rears they are 25x11x12. seems the width of the tire is different, do i need to also buy rims for the new tires.

 

no there is no reason to buy new rims the tires you listed will fit fine

 

but the width is different 25x8x12. the 25's have a width of 8in and the 26's have a width of 9in. and the rears have stock 25x11x12 with a width of 11 in and the new tires have a width of 12 in

Other people have run those sizes without spacers but it depends on the model of the tire. Some are wider just like some are a lot taller than another tire the same size.

 

i know i'm going to be using 26's but i have it noroed down to 4 mud bug, mud hog, mud runners or swamp fox plus.there the tires that arent to expensive. cause to be honest im turning 13 in a couple of months but atvs i grew up.
