Picture of bead for Kenda Executioners
#1
I recently purchased a set of Kenda Executioners and had them mounted. After one day of casual trail riding the bead has shifted and tire looks like it is on cockeyed. It looks as if the tire had not completely popped onto the bead when initally mounted and as I drove it started to work its way on. The tire was sitting behind rim before but now it has popped on further and it sits out just slightly beyond the rim. If anyone has a close up of an executioner correctly mounted, it would help me out a great deal. If you do not have a picture and could explain what it looks like, that would even help!
Thanks

I have 2 sets of Kenda Executioners. They have great "Rim Savers". That means that the rubber is formed so that it extends beyond the rim when properly mounted. That way rocks do not damage your rim. Based on your description it sounds like your bead was not properly set when the tires were mounted and now they are. Check your beads in both sides and make sure the tire extends past the rim. Mine go past the rim approx 3/8". If they don't, add some air to set the bead, then let air out to get to the correct pressure.

CoKTM,
Thanks for your response. I just ran down and pumped one up and it popped right on. I just wanted to make sure before I started. I emailed Kenda and they never responded...I like their tire, but I would also like customer service...oh well. THanks again.
