Can someone tell me what the three stars stand for on Carlisle ACT???

Default 3 STARS ON CARLISLE ACT????
A star represents 2 plies.

1 star is 2 ply
2 strars are 4 ply
3 stars is 6 ply.

Some tire makers print the ply on the tire others use the star symbol method.
