Bighorn tire sizes
#1
Can anybody tell me how much difference there is in size between the stock rear tire of a king quad (25") vs. a 25" Maxxis Bighorn? I am torn between staying with the 25" tires (Bighorn) or getting a 26" Bighorn. Will a 26" bighorn fit on a stock King quad rim that was originally a 25"?

Yep, the Bighorns do run true to size, or even larger. I saw a 25" Bighorn today next to a 25" Carlilse 489's, and you could see that the Horn's were taller.
Another thing you want to consider is weight. With 26" Bighorns all the way around, you are probably going to add between 8 - 10 lbs on each corner over your stockers. The Bighorn 2.0's are considerably lighter... just thought I would mention it.

I have heard that Bighorn 2.0's are lighter because they DO RUN true to size.... and the lug height is shorter as well.. Bighorn has 28/32 (0.875") and 2.0 has 23/32 (0.7188).
