pre load of springs and lowering of quad ???
#1
a few questions
what are the reasons for preloading the springs:
stiffer
softer
what is the reason for lowering a quad?
is it for better cornering?
wouldn't it bottom out easier from jumping?
thanks

Finally !! The shocking story of how to "Tune your Suspension" !!! - - ATV at Off-Road.com
Step by Step Suspension Set Up - ATVTalk
The reason to adjust your shock preload is to set the proper "ride height/sag". If the ride height isn't right, everything else will be off as well. After you have the proper ride height, then adjust your compression and rebound damping to fine tune everything.
