Default Best Snow tire?

Looking for some tires that are good in the snow. Going to be plowing snow this winter and the Rawhides are about shot. Any suggestions? Its for a 02 Sportsman 700

ITP Holeshot ATR's. Excellent floatation in deep snow. I ride my Rancher in yard deep snow, everywere my buddies go on their big bore IRS pigs!

They look like they would do well. I also heard good about the GBC Dirt Devil 2's. Any input on those?

My thought is the best mud tires also make the best snow tires. Large agressive lugs have to be good in snow, I would think.

I have a set of ITP mud-lites on a 2wd quad I plow with. At the end of my driveway there is a small slope up from the street. If there is any snow, even if its just a dusting, I am unable to go up the slope in reverse. The tires dont seem to have a problem going forwards but backing up is another story. So I would look for tires with a tread design to go forwards and backwards.

I would imagine that too aggresive of a mud tire would be a bad thing in snow. Wouldnt you rather have something that would float on top of the snow vs. digging through it trying to find the bottom?

My 700 lb pig is going down to the bottom no matter what tires or on it,LOL but with agressive tire once it hits earth then they can do there stuff.

True. The 700 with me on it will weigh close to a 1000lbs.

though I have no personal experience with them, I have heard nothing but good things about the Bighorns in the snow.
