Default Tires

I have been looking at the maxxis bighorn tires for my grizzly 700, are they a good tire? i will be mostly riding on logging roads and some rock and lots of snow, and maybe the odd mud hole. Any reviews would be great

Not a dedicated mud tire like an XTR or Zilla but a great all around tire. Everyone I've talked to that has them likes the Bighorn. It sounds like a great tire for what you described.

They are great on rocky & rough terrain- they are a very soft "bouncy" rubber- like the moose said, not a dedicated mud tire, but it'll get you through. Troyboy had to adjust his shocks & run with 4psi when he went with the bighorns- the grizz got real tippy otherwise.

My friend Jeff has them on his 550 Grizz. They are a nice light tire and he has had no issues or complaints. They are good all around tires for what you want to do.

I own 2 sets of the Bighorns and will be a great tire for what you decribed plus they will last for thousands of miles! The only thing I don't like about the tires is making a quick turn in mud the front tires will keep going strait for a second before they decide to turn!

ITP Terracross and Pit Bull tires also worth looking at. 8 ply and very tough.
