Default 94 Yamaha Big Bear 350 4x4 clutch problem?

I need help, when I put it in gear it clunks and moves foward and you have to give it gas to keep it running. Also, it shifts real hard between gears. Is this a clutch problem and needs to be replaced? Any help would be great, Thanks!!!

you need to adjust the slack in your clutch cable
you clutch is not fully dis-engaging when you pull the clutch lever
check the inline fuel filter to your carb, sounds like it is close to being plugged up
also pull the cylinder head cover , you may need to adjust your intake / exhaust valve clearance
drain your engine oil and replace with oil meant for wet clutches
i personally recommend SHELL ROTELLA T6 synthetic diesel engine oil
i used the conventional rotella in my old ninja 600 bike , makes a hell of a difference in engine smoothness and smooth clutch shifting
not to mention a cooler running engine
