I've noticed a few advertisements for Elka Suspension in the ATV mags. I had never heard of them and checked out their web site elkasuspension.com. The web site isn't much yet but I e-mailed an inquiry anyways.
They have fully adjustable front shocks with 5/8" shafts, reservoirs, dual rate springs and adjustable preload for $870. Optional self saging device is $25. This seems like a fair deal- it's about the same price as similar Works ProSeries with the same features.
Does anyone have these shocks or know anything about them? The few shocks pictured on their web site do look high quality.

I have a pair of Elka shocks on my raptor.Mine have the single spring, adjustable compression, with piggybacks.I opted for this set up because i ride primarily in the dunes. The self sagging spring would be nice for racing, but i only plan on racing a couple times a year. The quality and craftmanship of the shocks are first rate. They perform exceptionally well.I have only ridden one time with them, and they work great.
Martin, at Elka,is very helpful and concerned with the customers needs.Very customer oriented.I had my shocks in one week from the day i ordered them.I will try different adjustments next time i go riding just to see what the difference is.No complaints here.Very satisfied.

I do not have those shocks, but I did call up the company and was quite impressed with the customer service aspect of it, they were very cool and even hooked me up with free stickers along with information on their products. At least with me Ill buy a "not the best" product from a company that actually gives a s#it what their customers think before Ill buy "the top of the line" part but not so top of the line customer service... Say if you bust it, which company is more likely to replace it??
This past weekend I got to see a set of Elka Suspension front shocks on a 400EX. I was thinking that I would get Axis shocks but after examining the Elka shocks first hand, I think that they're the ones for me. They look very well made and the guy who was running them loves them. He races a lot of MX/GNCC and said he abuses the heck out of them without any compaints. For $380 less than comparable Axis front shocks, they look like a good deal to me. Oh yeah, the guy said he was very impressed with Elka's customer service too.
