I currently have 12" diameter steel wheels that are 8" wide. I want to switch to 12" cast aluminum wheels that are 6" wide. Can I fit the same tires on the 6" wheels?

I have two sizes 25x8-12 in front and 25x11-12 in the back. On a 2008 Polaris Sportsman 500 X2.

Thank you for your help. Stopped at a tire store and they said probably not.

They should fit, but the back tires might look funny since the beads will be pulled in an inch farther on each side. A friend of mine had aftermarket tires and wheels on his Kodiak and the rear tires just didn't look right.
