I am looking for new tires for an old Traxter Max. I am looking for an all around tire with good mudding ability without going to the extreme mud tires.

The Traxter Max is a big heavy 2 up machine and I am a big guy so they need to be a heavy tire. Because of that I am leaning towards 8 ply radials but not closed off to others.

Some I am looking at are:

Sedona Mud Rebel RT
QUADBOSS QBT672
GBC Spartacus
Kenda Executioner

I would appreciate any input on these or other suggestions.

Only tire I've seen some riders have are the Executioners. Very capable in mud and not too bad on hard pack. Look into Interco Swamplites. Great all around tire that is not as expensive as some. Had them on my previous Can-Am Outlander Max 650 XTP. Great tires.

 

Outlaw MST's. (mud, snow, trail) Excellent snow tires, I drive my AC Diesel all winter, here's a picture, they are light, wear great. BTW, the replaced 30" Mudzillas, 10 times better!

 

I would steer away from the Sedona Mud Rebel RTs. I've had a set and I was not impressed with them at all.

I only hear positive comments about ITP MudLite XTRs.
