Mud Bugs
#1
I'm pondering the idea of getting a set of 27" Mud Bugs for my 500 quadrunner when my stock tires wear out since they're supposed to be the lightest mud tire available. I don't really care if they're good in the mud as long as they're good on trails. I ride mainly on hardpack, loose dirt, rocks, creeks, and the occasional mud hole. I'd like just a taller tire with tread like my stock tires since they do so good on trails and the terrain I ride in but I have yet to find such a thing. The weight is an issue since I don't want any premature wearing of the parts on my quad so that's why I'm considering the Mud Bugs. Any suggestions?

I have 26" BUGS on my quad and it sounds like we do alot of the same kind of riding. I am very happy with mine ( just stay out of the shale gravel pits in the snow...a bit hard on them
) They have great traction, ride smooth ...over ~8mph, and work great in different condition.
Another cool thing is they look killer on quads!

Nice looking quad Foreman. Sounds like you really like your bugs. If the mud bugs aren't the lightest 27" tire then what exactly is. They felt pretty light when I picked up a 26"x12"x12" that was at my dealer.
