I want to get some bigger tires for my bike...maybe some Gators. I want to go to a 26" tall tire. If I do...will it hurt my top end? Will I lose any bottom end power? My stock size is 25x8x12 on the front. The back has 25x10x12. The smallest the Gator come in the 26" size is 26x10x12 for the front....will it rub very bad. I'm thinking about going with 26x10x12 all the way around. Anybody running this combo?

I put 27's on my Y2K, and I did lose alittle at both top end and bottom. You could probably get the top end back if you had a long enough trail to really wind it out. I would do it all over again for the difference that it mad in both handling and mudding.

My brother inlaw has 25 x 8 x 12 & 25 x 10 x 12 Gators on his 450 ES. As soon as I can I'll post some pics.
