Well, I'm ready to go from 20" tires to 18 as I ride mostly mx with sandy / dirt mix tracks down in south Florida. I've had holeshot and shredder tires before, but am consider fast trekkers or turf tamers, will I be disappointed?

i have turf tammers on a TC405ex and holeshots on an 87 zilla the tammers are a thicker tire and seem to hook up more than the holeshots they also last longer than holeshots.
holeshot flex alot more than turf tammers

My brother has Fast Trekkers on his '95 Blaster and he likes them. They seem to have good traction on dirt.

I have used all the tires that you are considering and I have found that if grooved correctly, Turf Tamers are the best. Holeshots and Shredders are almost the same. If you are going to ride in a lot of sand, you may want to go with the Fast Trekkers though. The lug pattern on them is similar the the paddle tires so they will give a lot of traction in the sandy soil. TUrf Tamers are better when the ground is hard.
