I need new tires. I ride in some deep mud, hard packed trails, gavel pits, steep hills with loose dirt and plow a lot of snow. I will most likely get 589's. How do these work? How deep is the tread? Can I put the same size on front and back? Where shold I get them? Thanks for your help.

If your quad is the 500 than you should be able to go an inch or two larger than stock and the same as front and back. The 589's look awsome and have a lug 1 1/4" deep. You may also want to look into the gators or mud bugs for your riding.

The King is a 300 and I believe the first with a locking front. In my opinion it is the best 4X out there to date. No it is not large displacement king, but I can go past everywhere the other bikes are stopping. Go with the same size ratio your tires are now!!! If you don't it will mess with your 4X capabilities! The 589s are cool, but I really like the wider blackwaters.

The 589s are great but also consider the Goodyear Mudrunner. There are two 589s - one made by Titan and one by ITP. Both are American made.
