Hey, I just bought a new 2003 blaster and have heard that the original wheels suck! I want new wheels but don't want them for anything imparticular, just for all around use. Please respond with your opinion for the best wheels that I sould get! Thanx

first of all honda doesnt suck, they are way more reliable than yamahas but im not trying to start a fight and i have nothing against yamahas. but the about the tires, i need to know what kind of riding u do? XC, MX, rec., etc.........? If you ride XC i would definately go with Maxxis Razrs or ITP holeshot XC's, for MX i would get turf tamers and a good set of recriational tires are Pure Sport Bandits

My friend has a blaster and he runs Turf Tamers on the Rear and Holeshot MX's on the front. I see a lot of quads in magizines set up that way. If it was me i would get holeshot MX's all the way around.

Holeshots are probably the best all around tire for you to get... the turf tamers wont do so well in the woods with mud and what not. just get ridda those tires they suck, and a word of advise.. dont have a sn "hondasuck" people wont like you around here and hondachick where do you get off saying how the hondas are more reliable, yes they prob are most of the time but the yamaha's arent so bad themselves, id advise both of you to calm down and listen to what people have to say first to get along with every1

I agree with 350 dude, the stock Ohtsu tires on a 400ex grab great all over,Raptor rears should be pretty much the same, too. Hey,they used the discs off the Raptor, why not set it up with the Rappy tires and make it more race ready right out of the box ???

Raptor tires are the same Dunlops that come on a Z400. And yes, they do hookup really well, but I wouldnt reccomend them cause they seem to have really weak sidwalls prone to tears and just alot of flex in general. Maybe the tires on the Honda are better.
