I recently bought a 86 honda 200sx and the handling kinda sucked so I rotated the front wheels to add a few inches on each side to increase handling. What I was wondering was does this cause damage to any of the components or add premature wear.

I'm assuming that by rotating, you mean reversing. I'm under the impression that such a move will put extra stress on the A arms in front or axle in the rear. I suppose it depends on how much extra width you obtain and also how hard you ride.
