Default Maxxis Roosters?

I am looking at ordering some Maxxis Rooster Wedge and Front Pro tires from Rocky Mountain ATV. Can anyone tell me of their experience in the dunes with these tires? I have a 2003 Z400.

I would not get the front Roosters. They are a 21 inch tall tire and from all the tires I've ridden in the sand in that size have the tendency to dig in. The 22 inch tall tires float much better and absorb bumps and landings way better than the smaller size. The only problem is the larger size tires have to be mounted on wider rims and they make your quad sit a little higher in the front.

I live in a northern desert area(Okanagan Valley, check Washington state for reference),and we do not get much snow that lasts more than a day, so snow does not come into this equation. Thanks for that info though, I know a couple of guy that might be interested to know that.
