Has anyone tried the New Kenda Klaws?
#1
I read the review in DW's and was intrigued that Kory Ellis was using them on his racer and won! So has anyone here tried them and if so what are your impressions? I am very new to this sport but I am not fond of pushing the front end as much as I am in squaring off a corner. The stock Dunlops are fun but I am always interested in improving the performance!

Be carefull believing anything "dirtliars" reports in their tests. Read it then re read it looking for little catch phrases they use like "best tire we tested in a year" in this recent review. Does that mean every tire they tested in 10/01 was a better tire? does it mean anything at all?
I have the Kenda desert dogs that are strong and tough just like dirtliars said or claimed in their past test, but everyting else they claimed didnt come to be very accurate. On a side note I am very happy with these as a replacement for the very puncture prone ohtsu's but they dont hook up nearly as well, and seems like it is due to the harder compound of the rubber, but thats prob also why they have been thru some very nasty terrain with ZERO punctures. Kenda does claim the Klaw (prev. bulldog) has a softer compound.
Hope that helps you out
