I would like to know every positive and negative attribute of these tires that anyone would be willing to tell about. I am pretty much in "tire research mode" right now, and I'd like to get some first hand knowlege of the fine points of the Claws. No Vampire comparisons though please, I don't want this topic to turn into a war zone. I just want to know how they do in the woods mainly, and how they ride and steer. I ride more woods than mud, but I want the aggressive 27" tire that will add clearance. I also want to mount them on a stock 6.5" rim. I know at least that you can do it with a 27x12 Mud Bug. It may be possible with Claws or Vamps too then. Only a half inch less than the 7" wide ITP's that everybody has them on.

i have a 2000 450s with 27x9.75 x12 bi-claws on the front and 27x12x12 tri-claws on the rear. i love them. they are not hard to steer. they don't ride as rough as some tires i have tried!!! and they pul in the mud great. i also ride alot in the woods and do alot of stump jumping. i am very pleased with my tires so far.

I saw some again today at a Honda dealer and I think thats what I will get when the time comes. I think I will air up my stocker real big and then go do some donuts on the asphalt so I will have a reason to NEED new tires!
No really, they had a lot of different kinds, and I think that the Claws were the best bet here.

I think I have my mind made up now. I'm not out for a tire to brag on being the best. I just think I found the one that I like the best. Kind of like my quad. Not a big % of people would ever call the AC 500 the best bike ever built. I wouldn't, but I think it suited me the best. If the front differential was a little better, I would have no complaints.
