tire size

Default tire size

I have 25" tires on my '02 arctic cat 500 4X4. Would 26" tires make a noticable difference. Interested in itp mudlites. need some info.

On my Eiger i went from 25" to 26" Vampires, got a lil more than a Inch of GC and it muds so much better.

You will not notice any power loss on your 500. They should have put 26's on it to begin with.

26" tires would work great on your bike. You could even go 27s if you want. You want really notice a power loss but the bigger tires will take 1-3 mph off your top end. Just because of the added unsprung weight to your bike. I like Titan 589 M/T for the mud. They are 6 ply and will crawl thru the baddest of the mud holes. Their aggressive tread looks really tough on the bike.
