Default Actual clearance with IFS?

I'm considering a new quad and am trying to decide between IFS(Griz660) and non IFS(P650). My question is with an IFS quad how much actual ground clearance will there be under the back end once I'm sitting on it. I weigh 250 lbs. All the pictures I see of IFS are with no rider and I've seen that they compress once you sit on it.

it's gonna squat some. the ground clearance is measured at the highest point on quads. real clearance should be measured at the lowest point. anyway, you will still have more clearance than a solid axle quad. i have rode behind people your size & larger. they can squat down far enough to nearly look like a solid axle with a heavy rider. i say definitly go with independent susp. you can simply go through more in comfort!

oh yea, solid axle quads squat to. just sit on one & have someone measure the lowest point. hope this helps some, let us know what you buy!
