best tire for deep snow ?
i have a 2002 yamaha kodiak 400 with blackwaters on with almost no tread left.
i wouyld like to know which tire is the best for deep snow action 12 inch of packy wet snow and a 7 inch hard base that calapses some times.
i was thinking of buying these

best tire for deep snow ?
I run my Mudmachine Bi/Tri claws year round and they do great in the snow, but they are 27" tires and I think you need to stay around 26". if you mostly ride snow, you should go with a tall narrow tire so it"cuts" through the snow. if you go with a tight tread pattern the tires won't "clean out", and will become plugged with snow. if this happens...well you get the idea. don't jump on the first thing you see. my self, I would recomend "Mud machine" AT's or Vamps, both will ride well, and you won't have clean out problems.
