Best Mud tires and biggest size without lift
#11
Outlaws, Mudzillas, and vampire Edls are the truest aggressive mud tires. Then there is a group of semi-aggressive mud tires that offer slightly better trail performance, like 589's, radial laws, mudbugs, etc, and then finally the mud/trail type such asmudrunners, mudlites, bearclaws.. Depending on how much mud you want to ride in or how aggressive you want to get, you can decide on your tire. First decide how you'll be riding, then pick the tire that suits your style!!

crazzybeartracker, I think you are the person who needs to take a second look at Mudbugs and Gators. My Mudbugs have lugs that go halfway down the side of my tires which is more than both the mudzilla's and super swampers. Mudzilla's and super swampers both have deeper tread depth than Mudbugs and Gators, but that doesn't make them any less of a mud tire. All of these tires are also 6ply and have no noticeable difference in the softness of each tire. Go to 4atvtires.com and click on mud tires. See what comes up and maybe do a little reading before you open your yap.

Just a note. Mud machine's Tri-claw. Bi-claw is another outstanding mud tire. I have a set of 27's on my new Kodiak 450 4x4 and I can stay up with Anyone. Have really impressed several riders in the river bottoms.
