Someone convince me that high wheel speed/spin is desired during a sand drag race. In my opinion you are loosing torque & acceleration during wheel spin. I have won some drags by gaining an edge off the line due to increased traction while others are spinning like crazy. What is the point of gearing your bike high so that your wheel speed is 50% higher than your land speed?
