How many are going to Florence, OR for Memorial weekend?

Anyone know how early one needs to be at the South Jetty dune entrance to get a good spot at the staging area?

It was a great weekend, weather was awesome on Friday and Sunday, Saturday was a little shady but still good.

I towed my trailer to the South Jetty each morning at 5:50am and rode all day.

Had a real good spill Sunday. I was shooting in and out of the trees and on one of my runs towards the top the rear end of my V slid to the down side and I couldn't recover it. It flipped and shot straight down hill to the trees and bushes, luckily it turned and rolled once at the bottom and landed in the trees on the tires so I think the suspension helped cusion the blow.

Two hours and seven downed trees later I got her out, minimal scratches an no damage.

Can't wait for the next trip.

How tough are they on the alcohol ban, anybody get busted? In one way I think it takes a some fun out of the dunes when you are back at camp, but I definitely feel safer not having to worry about so many drunk idiots out riding.
